Nutanix Xi Frame Achieves AWS Digital Workplace Competency Status

I'm happy to share that today Nutanix Xi Frame has achieved Amazon Web Services (AWS) Digital Workplace Competency status. This designation recognizes that we have demonstrated deep experience helping customers build a digital workplace on AWS that frees end users from the office, allowing them to work securely on virtually any device, from anywhere, at any time.

AWS Digital Workplace Comptency

Our relationship with AWS goes way back to our earliest days when we launched as "Mainframe2" in 2013. We built our platform to "run any software in a browser" on AWS leveraging the power of the industry's first cloud GPUs. Since then we've built a world-wide business supporting an incredibly wide variety of use cases from high-end graphics design to everyday office work to students learning from anywhere. To learn more about our roots with AWS check out this post from 2014 in the AWS Startup Blog:

In 2018, Frame became a part of Nutanix, which has also enjoyed a long history of enabling customers to roll out end user computing solutions. By leveraging AWS cloud infrastructure we have been able to rapidly scale Frame to support remote workers and more with end-to-end Digital Workplace solutions in the cloud.

As an AWS Partner Network (APN) Technology Partner since 2014 we're proud to be one of the first APN Partners to achieve this newly unveiled AWS Competency. Our Desktop as a Service (DaaS) and application management solutions help reduce security risks and meet compliance requirements while allowing customers to effectively support remote workers and implement their business continuity plans. To support the seamless integration and deployment of these solutions, AWS established the AWS Competency Program to help customers identify Consulting and Technology APN Partners with deep industry experience and expertise -- we're honored to be a part of the first cohort for this program.
